Cooled Motors has been received the Transport Research and Innovation Grant (TRIG) grant, delivered by the UK Department for Transport and Connected Places Catapult and Department for Transport (DFT).
The focus of this project is reducing the size and weight of heavy duty electric and hybrid truck motors. This technology will also be directly applicable to electric and hybrid buses.
With TRIG support, we’ll be advancing and adapting our CoolShaft™ technology specifically for heavy-duty and freight applications. Over the coming months, we’ll be:
�� Engineering the CoolShaft™ for heavy vehicle platforms
�� Building and testing prototypes to prove technical feasibility for heavy duty.
